Is your life Perfectly Amazing? Do you want a Perfectly Amazing life? Proverbs 14:1 says “The wise woman builds her house; but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.” From this verse we see both the wise and foolish woman doing something. The result of their work is decisively different however.
In this brief writing, I’d like to share with you seven pillars you can “do” to ensure you are building your life to be Perfectly Amazing rather than tearing it down. These thoughts are in line with Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7 when He declared anyone who hears and does His sayings would be building on a firm and secure foundation that would withstand a great storm.
Proverbs 9:1 says wisdom has hewn out seven pillars. To hewn something is to cut away. I encourage you to be wise and cut away everything foundational in your life that does not lend itself to these pillars. These are seven eternal truths you as a woman can “hear” and “do” that will provide a strong, stable, and secure foundation against all life’s storms.
These pillars are Perfectly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
A – Abundant Life: In John 10:10, Jesus tells us He came to give us Abundant Life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for your life and you will have Abundant Life.
M – Made By God: Romans 8:28-29 says we can know God is working all circumstances for our good so that we would be conformed to the image of His Son.
A – Abba Father: Galations 4:6 tells us God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. We are the heirs of God. Therefore, we can pray Our Father in Heaven.
Z – Zion Is Waiting: Zion refers to the dwelling place of God. Revelation 21:3 confirms for us the dwelling place of God is with man, He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
I – Incomparable Riches In Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2:7-9 tell us God showed us how much He cared for us by giving us the gift of Salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. There’s no comparison to receiving the gift of Jesus Christ as Savior.
N – Nothing Is Impossible With God: John 15 conveys the need for us to stay connected to Jesus in order for us to bear fruit, showing we are His disciples. Just as it seemed impossible for Mary, the mother of Jesus, to bear a child . . .Luke 1:37 says “nothing will be impossible with God”. We bear fruit because we’re connected to the vine.
G – God’s Chosen: Ephesians 1 says God chose us to be His according to the purpose of His will. Romans 8:31 reminds us, “If God is for us, who can be against us.”
Women let us cut away everything in our lives that do not lend themselves to eternal truths. When we focus on the support system of our life and all God has done for us, we will build our house. We will be established on the sure foundation of hearing and doing all Jesus’ teaching. We will be Perfectly Amazing. The temporal won’t seem quite so important as we cut away everything but the eternal “hearing” and “doing”.
May God’s grace be evident in our lives and make us Perfectly Amazing women!
